
BIOGRAPHY Jon Sullivan began his career in film and video production in 1982 after graduating from Hofstra University with a B.A. in Communications. Working his way into the business, Jon spent the first few years of his career as a free-lance production assistant and grip in New York City. In 1985 Jon joined Mountain View Productions, a production house in Schenectady, NY. He began at Mountain View as an editor and then became a producer and director. In 1990, Jon created his own production company, Side Street Productions, where his focus became in house corporate videos, industrials, and commercial production. In 1995, he was approached by WJLA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Washington, DC to create a commercial production department. Jon has since made his mark in the nations capital and the production world by being awarded nine local Emmy Awards, twelve National Telly awards and the CINE Gold Eagle Award. In addition, Jon is one of the few local producers to have won the coveted National Emmy Award for a Community Service Campaign entitled Make Time To Listen, Take Time To Talk About Bullying. Jon's award winning commercials have included campaigns for Character Education for Children, The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, and the Choose to Save Retirement Savings Campaign. Jon presently lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife Jill and two children Danielle and Michael.
