Sticks and Stones: The Truth About Bullying
Starring Erica Harold (former Miss America), Sticks and Stonesis a 30 minute magazine style program that explores the everyday struggles facing children at school. This live to tape magazine style program was a part of the National Emmy Award Winning Community Service Campagin, Make Time to Listen, Take Time To Talk about Bullying.

Happily Ever After
A 30 minute informational program produced to support a campaign called Choose to Save. The campaigns goal is to encourage people to plan and save for their retirement. My goal was to take this very dry subject matter and make it informative yet entertaining. We engaged our audience in the stories of three couples in different stages of savings. We added documentary style history segments about the origins of Social Security and Medicare using archival footage. Its like Ken Burns meets Barbara Walters.

The Savings Game
Starring Wink Martindale this is a one-hour WJLA News special on the dos and donts of saving money. So, where does Mr. Martindale come in, you ask? In order to keep our audience entertained on such an uplifting subject, we added a game show element to the program and actually gave away cash prizes. Regional news anchors delivered the information about saving as if it were a newscast and the Game Show segments were used as bookends. It was like we were watching two different shows that were tied together.
